Trails Head at Barrio de Tubac
Free-standing Homes Final Phase!
Homes from 1,743 to 2,267 sq. ft.
From the High $200's
Trapped in a bed of history that is as old as the West itself, Trails Head is the place from which Juan Bautista de Anza and his party entered the Anza Trail on their way to find San Francisco, California. This was in 1774.
Today, Arizona new home builder Dorn Homes honors this man, his achievement and the sacrifices of so many, by rendering homage to their heritage not only through the location of the community but also by our attention to the archaeological detail of the earliest settlements in Tubac.
Renowned architect Kevin B. Howard has painstakingly captured the flavor of the 1700's in the Village of Tubac through the careful design of his homes at Trails Head. Using historical maps, drawings and outlines of the original barrio houses, Mr. Howard has brought depth and life to a design element only reflected in the Tucson and Tubac Valley basins of the Santa Cruz Valley.
